Employed!!

So, I've been in BC a week today, and I already have a job! Woo hoo!!

I will be working at the Rock Shop, which is basically my heaven. Studded belts, posters, band shirts, basically everything I LOVE! I've always wanted to work somewhere like that, so I might as well get it out of my system while I'm young. Otherwise when I'm a mother of four I'll just snap one day, and end up dyeing my hair and piercing something. :P

I start tomorrow, so I'll let you know how that goes!

Chelsea just got home, and she got a job today TOO! Damn, we rule. We just walk into our favourite stores, ask about a job, and TAA DAAa! She'll be working in a ski shop. We laugh about how we're basically living the same life, just slightly modified for personality.

Everything really IS going according to plan! WEEEeeeeeee!

First Day in VANCOUVER!

YAY we're HERE!

It is 10:20 pm local time, so 1:20 home time. Chelsea and I have been up since 7, and we've been cleaning our apartment for hours. This post is going to be short and sweet! I'm here, and it RULES!

Flight: wonderful! TV for each person, smooth ride, beautiful day! First time I've seen the Rockies, I can't wait to see them up close.

Neighbourhood: AWESOME! So many little cafes, Korean food in the closest grocery store, and wicked little Italian and Chinese shops full of gorgeous fresh produce! We took a 6km walk around the area, and it is SUPER nice. SO. RELIEVED.

Apartment: WOooo!! So cute and homey already! I can't wait until we get it all gussied up. I'll post more pictures soon, and do a photo tour of the neighbourhood.

Life update!!

So, here I am, 25 years old. Older, and definitely NOT wiser. In fact, I do believe I am regressing. I am thoroughly enjoying every minute of it too!

Wow, Blogger has made some fancy changes since I was last here over a month ago! Oooooo! Impressive! Ever so sorry I haven't been blogging. Allow me to give you a quick recap:

Monday to Saturday: Wooo I worked all day and was out until 3am. I rock at my job! I'm having FUN!
Sunday: Ewww, Sunday, I'm bored...and possibly at work.

There you go, my summer in a nutshell. :P

Now, for the big news:

I am MOVING TO VANCOUVER!

Yes! This is completely random! I have nothing planned whatsoever, and my only reason for going is to continue with my excellent life plan of "Weeeeee!". I leave September 19th, so in about two weeks. Hooray!

I will try and blog more when I'm out there. I have a tendency to actually bother when I'm out having new adventures as opposed to doing the same ol' same ol' at home.
