Well, that was horrifying.

You know, there's a reason I never pursued psychology. I do enough of it in my free time.

It dawned on me just now, this very moment why I'm so bad at keeping in touch. And it makes perfect sense. It is the same reason I haven't made any close friends here. With age comes wisdom...or at the very least a sense of what to avoid.

Also, what is with this sudden inundation? Almost ALL of them. Is the world trying to tell me something? Life is funny sometimes. I think I need a manual, or maybe a quick start guide.

What a weird post this is. I promise I'll pretend to be all excited about something mundane really soon! Hooray!! Like the other night I saw a SKUNK! And then a CAT! The cat was NICE! So I PET IT! Wanna see a picture? I totally have one!!Okay, yeah. Perhaps I'm going crazy. Today was just bad. :P Don't mind me. Health care here costs $54 a month out of my own pocket. Thought you'd enjoy that little tidbit. I laugh in the face of Canada's 'free' health care. The bitter, insane laugh of a comic book villain.

Slackeriest slacker that ever slacked.

I really do suck at updating this thing. I hereby promise to do better! Even though I *think* I'm not doing anything new and exciting, I shouldn't take for granted the new experiences I'm having. This blog might get a little bitter, I warn you. Two daily bus rides through cracktown do that to a person. Overall, I am enjoying the city. I found my niche here and am making many new friends! Spring arrived back in February, bringing with it beautiful flowers and sunshine. I hear things are warming up back home too, finally! The Maritimes aren't so lucky though. Mom's sister sent her this photo of her backyard not long ago. Whew...no thanks!

On my end of the country, things are thankfully quite different. This view in particular brightens my day. It is the first thing I see when I leave the house in the morning.Lovely isn't it? :)
