Weekend Update

I have so many things to post, and this one is sorta boring. Too bad for you, glaze the ol' eyeballs in advance....GO.

Friday: went HOME! Sweet glorious home where no one is in my FACE. We went and saw Wolverine! It was grand I dare say. Plus, you can't tell me that every Canadian didn't feel a teensy burst of pride when Wolverine was all "I'm CANADIAN" in a dismissive manner. TAKE THAT!

Saturday: Grounded! Dad had the car so we were stuck in the ol' hometown. What else to do but romp through the forest? Too bad I forgot about Osker's fear of chainsaws. If he catches even the faintest roar in the distance he's DONE. He dragged us all the way home with nary a moment to stop and pee his usual 25 times. It was a nice peaceful day. We played games, and sat on the porch with tea a lot. Ahh, good times. That night Melissa and Derrick came over for CRANIUM! Wooo HOooo we bought that game a month ago and haven't had friends to play it with until now haha.

Sunday: The big day! We all went up to Ottawa to visit the war museum. It RULED. That place is amazing. Dad and his pal Hugh MacMillan just happen to be war experts, so they always had extra tidbits to tell us. I'm a big fan of tidbits! Unfortunately, we ran out of time, as usual. When Mike and I go to museums it is an all day thing. 50% due to interest level, 50% due to the fact that Mike sees as well as a mole and has to read every word written on every surface. :P
We took the train back to Montreal, and resumed with our regularly scheduled activities: namely "Taco Night in Canada," our sweetass Sunday night tradition. This was after we broke in to our apartment. Our door was jammed by an obstacle on the other side, so Mike had to climb up the building to our 2nd floor window and jump in. It was pretty awesome, as passers-by agreed. Others shouted helpful encouragements like "don't jump!" After about 20 minutes, we got inside and had our precious tex-mex. Yum!

Ok, enough of this!

Mike is playing such horrible "mexican" music that my brain might turn inside out at any moment. Must go punch him now, toodles!
